Extension of the accreditation for the testing of grinding tools
External audits in connection with the extension of the accreditation for the testing of grinding tools and comparable products by the "Deutsche Akkreditierungssystem Prüfwesen GmbH" (DAP) in the year 2007 have certified once more the excellent quality and competence of MPA in the field of testing of grinding tools.
In addition to the existing accreditations for the European Standards EN 12413 "Safety requirements for bonded abrasive products" and EN 13236/A1 „Safety requirements for superabrasives" now MPA obtained the accreditation for the Standards EN 847-1 "Tools for woodworking - Safety requirements ", EN 1083 "Power-driven brushes” as well as EN 13743 "Safety requirements for coated abrasives”.
Therefore MPA-Hannover is the only european test institute which is able to test nearly the entire extent of rotating grinding tools with diameters from 80 mm to 1600 mm. For products fulfilling the requirements, MPA issues international valid certificates.
All accredited standards are performed in the 11-sided accreditation document dated from the 06.06.2007.
