Product testing

The main focus of our work in the product testing area is

• physico-mechanical, chemical and damage testing on semi-finished products and components made from metal and plastic
• the investigation and valuation of steps to prevent corrosion
• the examination and certification of grinding wheels, registration plates, construction parts of pipe lines, installation material and safety equipment.

The MPA-Hannover pursues an accredited testing laboratory that works on DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. In our testing laboraty, the „Centre of Competence for Abrasive Tools” (CCA), we have a modern equipement for the technological and analytic testing of grinding discs and similar products.

The MPA-Hannover tests retroreflecting registration plates on behalf of the conformity assessment organisation DIN CERTCO and certifcates containers that have to be certificated for international goods traffic.

We test products for manufacturers, importers, product certification companies and quality associations. To certificate after ISO 9001 and accredit after DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 we work together with certification and accreditation agencies.
