Calibration of material testing machines

Traceable calibration of testing machines is an essential prerequisite for industrial quality control. Appropriate calibration certificates are conclusive proof of testing material monitoring for the DIN EN ISO 9000ff and DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards.

The time intervals for testing and calibration depend on the relevant standards, but should not exceed 12 months. Routine testing at shorter intervals is recommended. The procedures prescribed in the standards must also be observed when making repairs or changing location.
